Donald Trumphas denied that Elon Muskis “taking the presidency” as the first cracks begin to show in their partnership.
The orange manbaby, 78, hit out following weeks of intense speculation that South African-born billionaireMusk, 53, is really pulling the strings behind the scenes.
He fumed: “No, he’s not taking the presidency.
“No, he’s not going to be president, that I can tell you.
“He can’t be — he wasn’t born in this country.”
Republican Representative Tony Gonzales, of Texas, has described the incoming dynamic in Washington as feeling like Tesla boss Musk is the “prime minister."

“And it feels … as if Elon Musk is our prime minister.”
Democrats have also been trying to rile Trump about not being in full charge with Muskaround.
They reckon the infamously thin-skinned president-elect’s ego will grow to dislike Musk’s soaring profile.
X owner Musk has been regularly seen in recent weeks at Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Could Musk be president?
He has been appointed to run his own cost-cutting advisory commission called the Department of Government Efficiency when Trump enters the White House in January.
The news comes as Donald Trump's impact could be felt across various sectors, with the tech industry bracing for significant shifts come his office return in the New Year.
